Remembering Mary Ellen Krumhansl

It is with deep sadness that the members of the North Coast Fossil Club mourn the passing of longtime member Mary Ellen Krumhansl.
Mary Ellen passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019.
Mary Ellen was the beloved wife of Bill for 53 years. Bill passed away on August 19, 2009.
Mary Ellen, Bill, and their daugter Beth joined the NCFC in 1991. Beth has fond memories of going on "family fossil hunts" in some Sandusky quarries when she was only 10 years old.
Mary Ellen was a kind and soft-spoken person who greatly enjoyed attending the NCFC banquets, picnics, and monthly meetings. For countless years, her husband Bill and daugter Beth worked unselfishly to provide, cook, and prepare food at NCFC events.
Mary Ellen enjoyed her job at JOANN Fabrics. She retired from JOANN Fabrics in 2012 with over 25 years of experience. Her daughter, Beth, is presently a teacher at JOANN Fabrics.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Mary Ellen's life at The Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home on Saturday, June 29 from 3 PM to 7 PM. The Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home is located at 20820 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, Ohio 44126.
